A Revolution in Nutrition: How it's Made
-
Step 1: Coating
We coat 100% organic fruits and vegetables with vegetable gums and vegetable oil which act as a protective barrier for the nutrients inside the vegetables.
-
Step 2: Freeze-Drying
Next, we freeze-dry the fruits and vegetables to remove nearly all of the water. The remaining material is very nutritionally dense, which is why a small amount of ENOF provides a tremendous nutritional punch.
-
Step 3: Grinding
Finally, we grind the coated and freeze-dried ingredients into the fine, nutrient-packed powder you see in our canisters.
-
Step 4: Packaging
We repeat this process for each fruit and vegetable and then blend them together to obtain a specific nutritional outcome. After that, ENOF is packaged and ready for use.
ENOF. Essential Nutrients from Organic Foods.
Ingredients
We encourage everyone to eat fresh vegetables and fruit first, but sometimes it isn’t possible to eat the recommended 9 servings of fruits and vegetables every single day.
ENOF is made with ten organic fruits and vegetables, all selected specifically for their rich nutritional profiles.
Spinach: Organic spinach is a nutritional powerhouse – even if it is also the source of strongly worded arguments between you and your kids. It’s full of Vitamins A, C, E, B1, B6 and folate (plus numerous carotenoids such as lutein and zeaxanthin) – Popeye had it right all along!
Shiitake and Maitake Mushrooms: Organic shiitake and maitake mushrooms are some of the best sources of Vitamin D! ENOF is packed with them, so your kids can get these nutrients without seeing them in mushroom form. Shiitake and maitake mushrooms also contain a significant amount of Vitamin B2, Folate, Biotin and numerous polysaccharides that are thought to provide immune system benefits.
Sweet Potatoes: They're not just good at Thanksgiving dinner! Sweet potatoes are phytonutrient powerhouses containing all manner of good things like beta-carotene, Vitamin C, and a variety of flavonoids, terpenoids, tannins, saponins and glycosides.
Carrots: Organic carrots are an excellent source of Vitamin A, Vitamin K, Biotin, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin C.
Broccoli: Organic broccoli, the king of cruciferous vegetables, is full of critical nutrients like Vitamins C, K, A, folate, B6, B2 and B1. It also contains multiple phyto-nutrients such as diindolylmethane.
Oranges: This massive new advance allows us to include all manner of new phytonutrients, but also to enhance some of the most important phytochemicals such as Vitamin C... and oranges are packed with this!
Strawberries: Did you know that strawberries are not actually berries at all? Botanically speaking, strawberries are actually "aggregate fruits", but don't worry how they are classified. All you really need to know is that these delicious little guys are filled to overflowing with a variety of nutrients including ellagic acid, anthocyanins, quercetin, and catechin (and of course Vitamins C and folate too).
Apples: Organic apples are now part of ENOF and provide all manner of antioxidant phytonutrients including quercetin, catechin, phloridzin and chlorogenic acid. Even if you don't actually eat an apple a serving of ENOF can help cover your nutrient needs.
Sunflower Seeds: Sunflower seeds are great sources of Vitamin E, a variety of B vitamins and several minerals.

FAQ's
What is in ENOF, anyway?
ENOF is made of ten organic highly nutritious fruits and vegetables: Sweet potatoes, two types of mushrooms, spinach, carrots, broccoli, oranges, apples, strawberries and sunflower seeds. ENOF contains no GMOs, syrups, sugars or dyes.
Is ENOF allergen-friendly?
Yes, ENOF is allergen-friendly. ENOF does not contain any of the most common allergens (nuts of any kind, shellfish, dairy products, eggs, wheat or soy) and is not subject to cross-contamination in our manufacturing facility either.
Is ENOF gluten-free?
Yes! No gluten here, and no chance for cross-contamination either. ENOF is safe for those who have Celiac Disease or other gluten-related allergies.
Is ENOF organic?
The ingredients in ENOF are organic, however we have not yet obtained organic certification from the USDA.
Has the FDA approved ENOF?
The FDA does not technically "approve" food items - which is what ENOF is.
Is this really enough ENOF?
It’s hard to imagine that 3 shakes is enough, but it is. If you want to test it out, shake it into a spoon and compare to a level scoop using the 1/12th teaspoon scoop we include with every order. This is the nutritional equivalent of about 2.5 servings of fresh fruit or vegetables. Most people should get about 5 servings a day, so they would use ENOF twice each day (one serving per day for children ages 5 and under).
ENOF sounds almost too good to be true. How can that be?
WE KNOW. It’s really a small amount. This is possible due to new technology that allows for almost all of the bulk to be removed from the ingredients, leaving only the good stuff. Remember how you felt when you got your first cell phone? It was a breakthrough. ENOF is a breakthrough too.
How is ENOF made? Do the vegetables lose nutritional value during processing?
ENOF is made through an innovative four-step process that, at its core, involves freeze-drying organic fruits and vegetables and then grinding them into powder form. We designed this process to ensure that all of the nutritional value of the vegetables is preserved – with ENOF, you get the full nutritional benefit of raw fruits and vegetables in a form that’s simple and healthy for your entire family.
Is ENOF safe to use for my kids?
ENOF is safe to use for any age (although we generally do not suggest using ENOF until 12 months old) as long as you have confirmed that your child does not have any food-based allergies to the ingredients in ENOF. We recommend using only one serving of ENOF per day for children 5 years old and younger, and two servings per day for ages 6+.
What is the shelf life of ENOF?
ENOF has a two year shelf life, but even after two years the product is still safe to use. If you use ENOF more than two years from the time you received it we cannot guarantee that the nutritional value of the product will be as indicated on the Nutrition Facts part of the label.
Can I cook with ENOF without damaging the nutrients?
Absolutely! You can put ENOF into recipes and (within reason) bake, boil, broil, grill, microwave, or freeze without impacting the nutrition provided by ENOF. We recommend the following:
- Baking – 350F for no more than 45 minutes
- Boiling – Medium flame for no more than 30 minutes
- Broiling – High heat for no more than 10 minutes; broil on low to your heart’s content
- Grill – Medium high flame for no more than 20 minutes
- Microwave – High power for no more than 10 minutes when mixed into another dish
- Freezing – No restrictions
Cooking for longer than the recommendations above will cause ENOF to degrade and begin to lose its nutritional value.
I received my order and there seems to be powder on the lid of an unopened canister. Is this normal?
ENOF is a very fine powder and can move through even the smallest of gaps in the lid of the canister so it is possible that a very small amount of powder migrates through the lid. As long as the safety tab is intact the product inside the canister is still safe to use. Also, we do slightly overfill the canisters to account for this.
I received my order and it looks like the canister is only about one third full. Is this correct?
Yes! ENOF is a very concentrated powder so you only need a small amount to make a serving. The product is packaged by weight (as opposed to volume), so the full package weight only fills about a third of the canister. We would have used a smaller container, but we needed to include the Nutrition Facts on the label and there was no practical way to do this on a smaller container.
My kids love their vitamins, why is this better?
Most vitamins are made with synthetic nutrients which are not nearly as easily absorbed into the body as real food. Also, most vitamins have sugar, syrup, artificial coloring and other junk. Don’t your kids already get enough of those things?
Can I buy ENOF as a gift?
Yes you can and we think that’s great. Just set up the shipment to the recipient’s address. Right now we don’t have a way to gift wrap or include a note, but they will still really appreciate you thinking about them.
