from 0 reviewsFood for Thought Therapy helped our two kids make leaps in their feeding progress. Importantly, as a parent, I’ve learned different approaches to more effectively work with my kids not only on their feeding habits but also on other areas in which I struggled to provide proper discipline. The changes don’t happen overnight, you need to be intentional about it, but the relief and feeling of liberation that comes with the progress we make is very rewarding and I cannot thank Kelly enough. Plus our kids loved her. She makes a real connection.
We had an incredible experience with Food for Thought Therapy with Kelly, and I can't recommend it enough! My son, had been struggling with severe food aversions for quite some time. He would gag and even throw up at the sight of certain foods, which was heartbreaking to witness. We tried various approaches before, but nothing seemed to work—until we found Kelly.
From the very first session, Kelly created a safe, supportive environment. Her approach was gentle yet effective. She didn't push him too hard, and she used a variety of creative techniques that helped him feel more comfortable with foods he had previously rejected. Kelly's expertise in sensory integration and food exposure was evident, and she tailored every session to meet our son’s specific needs.
I truly believe Food for Thought Therapy with Kelly can make a world of difference. Our son’s progress has been amazing, and we’re so grateful for Kelly’s guidance and expertise.
Kelly is so good at what she does. After years of struggling to try and get our 12 year old to eat more nutritious foods, and struggling to even get him to try new foods without gagging or throwing up, I looked online for an answer. I found Kelly and contacted her and I feel so blessed to have found her. She really connected with our son. He enjoys his appointments with her and even though he is not eating as much variety as we would like yet, he is open to try just about anything. He is not gagging and throwing up anymore when he tries new things. He is now eating tacos and breakfast sandwiches which we thought would never have been possible. He is so much more comfortable now with food. His anxiety about food seems to be gone. This is all in just a few months. Kelly is amazing and I would 100% recommend her to any parent who sees their child struggling with food anxiety and is desperate for an answer. She has blessed our lives and I will be forever grateful.
Kelly has been an incredible blessing to our family and our little girl in the past year. Our daughter had been in early intervention and was struggling with trying new foods, along with a very limited diet. She had been with them for over a year and we saw very little improvement. From the moment we met with Kelly for the consultation and evaluation, our daughter was instantly more comfortable with her. Kelly has done an amazing job building a trusted and loving relationship with our daughter and it has made all the difference. Our daughter enjoys going to sessions and she has made so much progress! We've added multiple new foods to her list, adding a great deal of variety to her diet. We don't live nearby, so our inlaws assist with getting our daughter to sessions, and Kelly has been nothing short of amazing at making us, the parents, feel included and a part of this journey without physically being there. I am so grateful to her for everything she's done to help our little girl progress in her journey.
Kelly has been such a help to our family. My daughter has struggled to eat for years. We have tried countless therapists and doctors with no luck. We are on the right track with Kelly. My daughter isn’t as anxious about food as she was. She willingly tries new foods (without the tears and frustration) and that’s been such a big help. Our stress level over meals has gone way down. I would definitely recommend Kelly.
