Insurance & Payment
Making feeding therapy accessible for your family
We understand that navigating insurance and payment options can feel overwhelming. Our goal is to make the process as straightforward as possible so you can focus on what matters most—supporting your child.
Insurance We Accept
Aetna
We are excited to be an Aetna provider, making it possible for eligible Aetna members to use their insurance benefits for services at Food for Thought Therapy.
Insurance coverage can vary based on your individual plan, so we recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm your specific benefits, coverage, and any applicable copays, deductibles, or coinsurance.
Questions about using your Aetna benefits? Contact us and we're happy to help you get started.
Private Pay
Food for Thought Therapy also offers private-pay services for families who choose not to use insurance or whose insurance plan does not provide coverage for the services they need.
Private pay allows families to access services directly without relying on insurance coverage.
Please contact us for current rates and payment information.
Step Up For Students
Food for Thought Therapy is a Direct Pay Provider for Step Up For Students.
If your child is eligible for funding through Step Up For Students, you may be able to use your available program funds toward qualifying services.
Families participating in the program should refer to their individual account and program guidelines for eligibility and coverage details.
HSA & FSA
We accept HSA and FSA payments for eligible services.
If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you may be able to use those funds toward your child's qualifying therapy expenses. We recommend checking with your plan administrator regarding your specific account and eligibility.
